How to use the Technology Radar

What is the Tech Radar?

The Tech Radar is an overview of different technologies - from languages, frameworks, tools and patterns to platforms - that we consider "new or mentionable". The radar therefore doesn't provide an overview of all established technologies - but it focuses on items that have recently gained in importance or changed.

What is the purpose?

The Tech Radar is a tool to help and support engineering teams at IMTF to pick the best technologies for new projects. It provides a platform to share knowledge and experience in technologies, to reflect on technology decisions and continuously evolve our technology landscape.

How do we maintain it?

The Tech Radar is maintained by the architecture group, who facilitate and drive the technology selection discussions at IMTF across the engineering teams. The Tech Radar is open for contribution through PRs for all engineering teams and depends on their active participation to share lessons learned, pitfalls, and contribute to good practices on using the technologies.
